Oxford Point - Bournemouth
Project Overview
Oxford Point is a large-scale student accommodation development in Bournemouth, designed to provide modern, stylish, and practical living spaces for students. The project required the installation of a wide range of aluminium window systems across a tall building, ensuring both performance and design appeal.
Our Approach
At Cheshire Architectural Aluminium (CAA), we were tasked with delivering a glazing package that combined durability, energy efficiency, and contemporary style. Our design team worked closely with project partners to create detailed CAD drawings and structural analysis, ensuring that every window system was suited to the demands of student living – robust enough for daily use while enhancing the overall appearance of the building.
The systems were manufactured at our in-house facility, giving us total control over quality and compliance. We selected thermally efficient aluminium windows to ensure comfortable interiors while also supporting sustainability and long-term performance.
Installation
Our fully trained NVQ-qualified installation teams managed the fitting process across the multi-storey building. Working at height and to tight schedules, the team ensured each unit was installed with precision, safety, and consistency.
Outcome
The completed Oxford Point development now offers a bright, modern, and energy-efficient environment for students. With its sleek aluminium window systems and high-quality installation, the building provides not only functionality but also a stylish finish in line with today’s student accommodation standards.
